Adam Harvey
While most kids were playing with Transformers and Stretch Armstrong, Harvey was coding on his first computer. And he's never looked back. A graduate of Youngstown State's Computer Information Systems program, Harvey was involved in developing the state of Ohio's first ISP and was a part of constructing and uploading some of the Internet's very first websites. He grew to serve as IT Director for the corporate world and then, in 1999, brought his technical expertise to GLAD WORKS. With his background in systems architecture, database development, programming, e-commerce, search engine optimization and all things technical, Harvey keeps our full-service ad agency at the forefront of the e-Industrial Revolution. With his tireless dedication to the latest techniques and equipment, Harvey offers our clients cutting-edge innovation, cost-effective solutions and good, straight-talking know-how. And that dedication often extends beyond the creative walls of GLAD WORKS. Serving as a committee member to the Arts & Business Council of RI and as the Director of Technology for the board of the Southeastern New England Chapter of the American Marketing Association, the RI Foster Parents Association, and GroundWork Providence, Harvey offers invaluable expertise to fellow marketers on the latest technology for both their own efforts and those of their members and clients. Harvey has engineered technical solutions for nationally-recognized entities such as Gulf Oil, BROOKS Pharmacy, Kaiser Permanente, Citizens-Union Savings Bank, National Park Service, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Rhode Island's NPR station WRNI and the Fire Department of New York. Adam writes monthly articles for Every Company Counts, an initiative of the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation.
