Stocking Stuffers and Holiday Gifts for the iPhone Addict

*This article originally appeared at iPhone Life magazine where Adam is a featured blogger.

Here we are again, iPhone Life-ers.

It’s the holidays.

And what would a December article be without some nifty little gift suggestions?

It wouldn’t be very festive, would it?  In fact, it would be downright depressing, so in order to avoid that mess, let’s do this thing!

Adam Harvey’s holiday gift/stocking stuffer guide begins now!

Apple Core cord organizer: Every. single. time. I go to use the pair of earbuds I keep plugged into my MacBook Pro, the &^%$#@* cord is in a tangled mess! How does this happen?  Do little evil elves come and tangle it when I’m not looking just to make my life harder?

It must be. I have no other explanation.

I am sure this happens to you too, so that’s why I think everyone should get this cord organizer. Together, we can stop those evil elves right in their evil little cord tangling tracks! Adam Harvey says “no more shenanigans!”

Ahem.

This next one is pretty cool, too. Do you always feel guilty when you unplug your iPhone/iPad/iPod, etc. when it’s done charging and you don’t unplug the charger from the wall?  With this nifty little device you can save all of your loved ones from the guilt and shame of leaving power sucking devices plugged in. The Belkin Conserve Socket™ turns off automatically once the phone is done charging. You can set it to turn off after 30 minutes, 3 hours or 6 hours. It’s also good to set it to cut power to stuff like curling irons and hair straighteners, lights, fans and heaters. Plus it’s a nice size and fits into a Christmas stocking.

Done and done.

Babies love to play with apps. They love to play with their parent’s iPhones even more, but I always cringe when I see parents hand their babies an iPhone because they always get it all gooey and finger print-y.

Why are babies always sticky?

The good people at Fisher Price totally seem to understand about the stickiness situation going on, so they’ve designed a case that allows babies to play with an iPhone without sliming it. It’s The Fisher Price Laugh & Learn™ Apptivity Case™ and I’m totally buying it for all my friends with sticky babies.

Until these babies can get their acts together, I’m going to help their parents protect their Apple devices!

This last one is something I bought for my wife, and I highly recommend it.  It’s the Trent iCarrier 12000mAh 2A&1A heavy duty Dual Port Charger.  She’s a power user like I am so she is constantly in need of a re-charge.  She keeps it in her purse or her briefcase for emergency charging situations.  It’s fantastic and it fits many different gadgets, not just Apple products.  It’s even compatible with tablets and gaming systems like the Nintendo DS.  Since it’s so versatile, I can’t think of anyone who wouldn’t like to open this baby up.  You’ll be a hero, trust me.

So that’s my list of a few fun gift ideas for iPhone lovers. What’s on your list?
